The following elements of prophecy have been
fulfilled by the following history. Note the accuracy of each element;
Seven heads
1) The Beast of Revelation 13 and 17 has seven heads.
These seven heads are met in the papal history;
Pius, Leo, Gregory,
Benedict, John, Paul, John Paul. No more, no less, exactly seven.
This
measures from the time in which the abomination that maketh desolate is set up
as stated in Daniel 12: 11, which occurred in 1798, to the present. This matches
the defined parameters expected of the prophecy.
2) These seven heads are the respective mountain-kingdoms of each papal head.
They are mountains by utilizing the same name among several popes. All that
share the same name are a mountain. It is the same as it is done in a
monarchy.
3) The numbers of the names of these seven heads, when all are added up,
comes to a cumulative total of 665, awaiting the antichrist, who comes in his
own name. John 5: 43, and produces the final one that produces the sum total of
666.
4) Five are fallen, one is, and the other is not yet come, and when he comes,
he must continue a short space. In this wording, the seventh head, must not have
come until after the sixth head. We see this fit perfectly with the arrival of
John Paul I, who followed immediately after Paul VI, and did not exist before
him.
5) In addition to this element lies the relevance of the short space; The
count at the end of Paul comes to 662, thus only the smallest mountain
could fit within this remaining frame. The count of John Paul, yields a total of
three, bringing the total to 665, right to the edge of 666, and is the shortest
possible count that could still be considered as a mountain. The
resulting small mountain can only produce a ``short space'' as the next shortest
tenure of any of the other heads was of Paul, and his total reign of his six
popes was approximately 66 years. John Paul stands at 23 years and a few months
and counting. In comparison, the mountain of John, produced a count of 231
toward the total of 666, a large leap indeed. The eighth is "of the seven, but
set apart because it is not a mountain, and therefore concurs mathematically
with being the remaining necessary "one."
6) The Chiastic Pattern in Revelation is seen in the distinctive patterning
found in it. From the first chapter to the last, there are five sets of matches.
The two centermost verses which correspond to this pattern are; Revelation 13:
18 and Revelation 17: 9. ``He that hath wisdom, let him count the number of the
beast,'' ``And here is the mind which hath wisdom.'' These words link together
these two verses as a clue to the whole formula which the number and counting
are derived.
7) Another element not seen in any other interpretation is the command to
count the number of his name. The popes each have taken a name, and when they
use a name that has already been used, they add a number to their name, so the
counting is done with a subset of real numbers which are universal and cannot be
disputed as are the letters of names or titles which are converted into numbers.
The counting of pure numbers produces a very focal result that pinpoints the
antichrist. The mere counting of any title held by the papacy is not capable of
the precise identification of one man. This method of counting just the pure
numbers is exact.
8) The ten horns are not identified yet, as the prophecy states; Revelation
17: 12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no
kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. No visible
identity is available yet for the obvious reason; they arrive on the scene to
give their power unto the beast at the last hour before the final judgment, thus
anyone who attempts to give any interpretation to this by naming ten entities is
solely based on presumption without evidence. These are formed under the eighth
head, which has not arrived yet. The evidence is yet to come.
9) The seven heads all have the name of blasphemy written upon them. The
popes all claim the power to forgive sins, and indeed, require their
constituents to confess before their priests in order to absolve their sins.
Other interpretations list the ancient kingdoms, though they have each a king or
kings, do not contain any such name of blasphemy, nor do the remaining concocted
kingdoms such as ``apostate protestantism'' possess any king or central power,
and are completely diverse from the ancient kingdoms, and also do not contain
any name or act of blasphemy. Only when these false interpretations identify one
head as the papal period(s) is there any evidence of having a name of blasphemy.
The diverseness of these concocted interpretations ought to be sufficient to
know they are false. As for the emperors of ancient Rome in being the seven
heads; it fails to match the number of seven, because as history shows, there
were eleven emperors rather than seven, and instead of the blasphemous forgiving
of anyone of their sins, they would rather cast them into their prisons than to
absolve anyone. This also leaves a 1900 year gap between the last emperor and
the antichrist. No such hint is made in the Scripture that there would be a long
unidentified period between the seventh and the eighth heads. Indeed it states
that the eighth is ``of the seven,'' and the seventh continues a short space,
implying that the eighth will immediately follow.
10) The eighth head is not on the beast that receives the definition of a
mountain, but stands apart. Being the final ``one'' it cannot be a mountain, but
because it is attached to the seven by the verse, it is included in the count,
but not as a mountain. As Jesus forewarned the one that they will receive, shall
come in his own name, and thereby produce the final one to the total cumulative
count. John 5: 43.
